PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Practical protective sleeve for water filters from the American manufacturer Sawyer, which protects them from frost, mechanical damage and also prevents drips from running down the filter walls. This neoprene cover in black is compatible with Sawyer SP124, SP128, SP129, SP131 and SP181 filters.
This model can keep your filter from freezing, but you should definitely follow a few guidelines if outdoor temperatures are going to be below freezing:
- When sleeping outdoors in freezing temperatures, place the Sawyer filter in your sleeping bag with you.
- Carry the filter in your breast pocket close to your body after use.
- If you use the filter with a hydrator, suck the water out of the bag more often so the water gets circulated and doesn't freeze.
- If we suspect the filter has frozen, stop using it. Once the membrane is damaged, the filter is not safe.
