The Grayl UltraPress filter bottle is a compact, easy-to-maintain tool for removing bacteria and parasites from water. It really proves its worth on longer trips in remote areas where we cannot rely on verified sources of drinking water. Thanks to it, we can safely quench our thirst with water from a river, stream, or lake.

The small dimensions allow you to carry the bottle in a standard bottle pocket. A clear advantage is that the purification process itself does not require any special disinfectants or special preparation and does not take longer than 10 seconds.

Before starting filtration, it is necessary to remove the inner reservoir. Then fill the outer tube with water up to the marked line, take the empty inner reservoir in your other hand and press it into the tube. As you press, the water from the outer tube is forced through the filter located at the bottom of the reservoir directly into its interior.

The cartridge filter uses a clever combination of activated carbon powder, which absorbs chemical and organic substances, and electrostatic absorption capable of capturing microparticles down to virus size. The manufacturer states that the cartridge has a service life of 300 cycles, which is about 150 litres.

The entire construction is made of high‑quality polymer and is covered with textured rubber in the grip areas. Thanks to its high durability, the bottle can withstand a drop from 3 metres onto concrete. The total capacity of the reservoir is 450 ml.
