RAM Guns - CHOOSE A SUBCATEGORY

WHAT ARE RAM GUNS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

RAM (Real Action Marker) guns are designed for self-defense, training, and recreational shooting, using rubber, pepper, or marking projectiles.

These RAMs are powered by compressed carbon dioxide CO2 in affordable cartridges, most often containing 12g of CO2. In models adapted for self-defense purposes, the cartridge is inserted into the grip and the cap/valve contains a small pin that pierces the neck of the cartridge when struck with the palm of the hand. By activating the cartridge, you have the weapon ready to fire in one second.

We also offer much better-finished training models, which are at first sight indistinguishable from real firearms and are operated in the same way - they feature a classic removable magazine, blowback system ( the moving slide imitates recoil when firing) and include the original safety features and all other tricks. These pieces are used to improve your gun handling skills without having to purchase a real firearm that would require a firearms license and gun registration.

TYPES, CALIBERS, POWER

Rubber and pepper projectile weapons are manufactured in many variants, calibers, and with different muzzle energies. Our range includes everything from pistols and revolvers to assault rifles and shotguns in calibers .43, .50, and .68. The larger the projectile, the heavier it is and the more irritant or colorant it contains. Therefore, the rule "the bigger, the better" holds true.

However, it also depends on the muzzle energy, which ranges from just 5 joules for training pistols to a whopping 40 joules for the HDX 68 shotgun and the new TC 68 carbine.

RAM guns with lower energy are more suitable for training and recreational shooting. Nevertheless, you can still defend yourself confidently if you use projectiles with an irritating pepper compound, as these rely more on the effectiveness of the irritant than on the impact force. On the other hand, a shot from models with an energy of 16 joules or an extreme 40 joules is really painful, and any attacker will immediately regret their life choices.

MANUFACTURERS

Most rubber and pepper projectile weapons come from the German giant Umarex under their T4E (Training for Engagement) division. Their products are a guarantee of quality and flawless functionality.

A few years ago, the well-known Chinese brand SPA appeared on the market with the CP300 Defender revolver, and we have recently added RAM pistols from the Italian manufacturer Chiappa LTL to our range.
