The Chinese company Snowpeak (SPA) has been active in the airgun market for a very long time, and for a good reason - their products are well-made and yet keep unbeatable prices.

This time, Snowpeak introduces a rubber projectile gun called the CP300 Defender in .50 caliber (12.7 mm).

This futuristic revolver can launch a projectile with an energy of up to 11J depending on the used ammunition. It is designed for shooting all kinds of RAM projectiles such as rubber, polymer, pepper and paintball balls.

However, the 6-round rotary magazine is compatible with any non-round projectiles that fit the chamber dimensions (12.7x18.5 mm). The magazine can be quickly removed using the double-sided lock with a roughened surface. A manual safety, located inside the metal trigger, prevents any accidental discharge.

As with most rubber projectile guns, this revolver is powered by a single 12g cartridge containing compressed carbon dioxide CO2. It is inserted into the grip by tapering forward, and to activate (pierce) it, it is necessary to manually screw in the threaded cover. When the cartridge is punctured, a red indicator at the rear of the slide pops out. To release the remaining gas, simply push it in.

The Defender features fixed rear sight and a light-guiding fibre front sight. In case you prefer using a red dot sight, it is also equipped with a 22mm Weaver/Picatinny rail. A second 22mm rail is located under the barrel for mounting a flashlight or laser sight. The internal metal mechanism is covered with a polymer body, thanks to which the revolver maintains its low weight.

CO2 CARTRIDGES - Compressed carbon dioxide deteriorates the o-rings inside the gun over time, which, in the extreme, can lead to overall loss of tightness. Therefore, please do not leave activated cartridges in the gun longer than necessary. That is, if you do not empty the entire cartridge and know you won't be using it for a while, empty it just in case. Used cartridges should be disposed of as they are not refillable.
