New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers Modular Sound Device 68 (MSD 68) from Umarex (T4E division) is a modular accessory for Umarex T4E training and paintball markers in .68 calibre, which, depending on the chosen configuration, reduces or, on the contrary, increases the shot noise.
The main advantage is the modular aluminium body, which consists of several screw‑on segments filled with foam rings.
To use the MSD device as a suppressor, simply leave it as it is out of the box – the main tube + 2 smaller tubes with foam inserts. Alternatively, the suppressor can be shortened either by removing the shorter tubes or the main one.
To use the device as a amplifier, the manufacturer recommends installing only the shorter tubes without foam inserts.
The MSD 68 device is designed primarily for paintball and training markers Umarex T4E in .68 calibre with M22x1.5 thread. These are mainly the models TC 68, TB 68 Gen2, TX 68 and the conversion kit CCK TR 68.
