Shotgun for rubber and pepper projectiles. An ideal firearm for self-defence, training and recreational shooting. And the best part is you don’t need a firearms licence.
The shotgun’s alloy frame is covered with polymer, which has a positive effect on the low weight. On the underside of the fore-end there is a 22mm Weaver rail for mounting accessories. All design elements have been primarily adapted for maximum reliability.
The power source is a 12g CO2 cartridge, which is inserted directly into the grip. On the bottom of the grip there is a cap. This pierces the cartridge just before shooting. Thanks to this, you can keep the cartridge in the grip for a long time without damaging the seals or the valve. Umarex has therefore brilliantly solved the issue of ready-to-use shotgun deployment for self-defence and eliminated possible fatal weapon failure.
The shotgun HDS 68 uses cal .68 (17.3 mm) ammunition. The muzzle energy is right on the limit of 16 J, which really delivers a serious punch. With the top selector you can choose whether only one barrel will fire or both barrels at once.
The Double Action Only (DAO) trigger mechanism and the trigger blade safety allow fast yet safe shooting. You will therefore not find a standard manual safety lever on this gun. There is no need to worry, this system is proven and completely safe.
Umarex T4E (Training for Engagement) weapons are an effective means of self-defence. This is evidenced by the fact that they are used by many armed forces and professionals for training. You don’t have to be a professional and you will enjoy plenty of fun with them when shooting at targets or cans.
