The solid steel ball guarantees maximum stopping power and, compared to lighter rubber or plastic cartridges, it maintains a much higher velocity in flight and on impact with coarse clothing, and thus higher impact energy. The total weight of one cartridge is 9.86 grams.
The plastic shell protects the barrel from wear and at the same time increases stability in flight, contributing to better accuracy.
Due to its overall shape, this ammunition is suitable only for the revolver Umarex T4E TR / HDR 68 and the double-barrel shotgun Umarex T4E TS / HDS 68. When used in other guns with a push magazine it will jam (an exception is the shotgun Umarex TB / HDB 68, into which the cartridge can be inserted through the side loading port, always one piece before each shot).
