PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This set can provide you with up to 600 litres of clean water per day. The kit includes a built-in Sawyer Point ZeroTWO water purifier, hole cutter, attachment, hose, filter cleaner, filter hanger and detailed instructions.
The kit is designed to create a gravity filter using whatever container you have on hand at the time. Simply scoop the dirty water into one container, place it in a higher position, and the water will then flow through the filter with its weight into the second, lower container, thus purifying it.
The Sawyer Point ZeroTWO Water Virus Purifier is the first portable filtration device that can mechanically remove both bacteria and viruses. Inside the filter is a dense membrane made up of hollow fibers with pores no larger than 0.02 microns. This traps all particles and does not allow bacteria and even viruses to pass through. It is also worth mentioning its impressive durability - it can filter up to 1,000,000 litres of water.
The only potential weakness is its sensitivity to frost. If the filter is wet and freezes, it can either crack or become damaged in any way. Then it is not recommended to use it anymore.
