The outer one is used to draw water from any water source, and the inner one with filter and cap to filter and then drink the water. To purify any contaminated water, all you need to do is scoop it into the outer bottle, and insert the inner bottle with filter. The filter takes care of everything immediately. Crystal clear drinking water in 30 seconds.
At the bottom of the inner bottle you will find a deep orange removable mechanical water filter. This can filter out up to 99.99% of contaminants such as viruses, bacteria, protozoa, chemicals, as well as heavy metals or other solid impurities.
