If we want to take our observation and hunting capabilities to the next level, the Panther PH50L rifle scope will definitely help us do that. New technologies and sophisticated technical solutions allow us to do everything in complete darkness. Built-in laser rangefinder, high sensor sensitivity and top display parameters guarantee maximum accuracy even in very difficult shooting. We can always be sure that we won't miss anything, even in the worst conditions.
At the heart of this device is a 384×288 12 µm resolution sensor, which is characterised by its superior detail. The exceptionally clear, eye-pleasing image is projected on a 1024x768 OLED display. In addition to 4x optical magnification, we can also use digital zoom in the range of 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x. In the case of laser beam measurements, the minimum measuring range is 10 m.
For precise shooting there is a simple thread cross with backlighting in white, green and red. What's more, the picture-in-picture mode offers the possibility of a detailed view of the target in a separate window, giving us a complete overview of the situation ahead. Already standard is the possibility of matching the colour display of the image, with 4 colour display palettes available: white heat, black heat, red heat and fusion.
During the observation process, images or video recordings can be taken, which can be transferred to a computer using a USB cable or stored directly in the integrated 16 GB memory. In addition, the Wi-Fi function allows you to control the device remotely directly from your phone.
We can't forget other useful functions such as Hot-Spot (marking the object with the highest thermal value) distance measurement - after marking the upper and lower boundaries of the object, the system calculates its distance, image correction with DPC (pixel error correction) and FFC (flat field correction) functions, image calibration to adjust the thermal display to be consistent with the optical display, filament cross calibration or trajectory correction.
The construction is made of magnalium, or an alloy of aluminium and magnesium, which reflects favourably on the high mechanical resistance, and as a result we can count on the IP67 resistance class. Thanks to the high resistance, we do not have to worry about vibrations generated during shooting even with such powerful calibers as 375 H&H or 9.3x64.
The power source in this case is a single 18650 cell, which we can charge very quickly via the USB-C port. With a full charge we can count on 6 hours of full operation.
