The built‑in laser rangefinder, high sensor sensitivity and top‑class display parameters guarantee maximum accuracy even in very difficult shooting conditions. This way we can always be sure we won’t miss anything, no matter how bad the conditions are.
The heart of this device is a sensor with a resolution of 384×288 12 µm, which is characterised by outstanding detail. The exceptionally clean image that doesn’t strain the eye is projected onto an OLED display with a resolution of 1024x768. In addition to 4x optical magnification we can also use digital zoom in the range of 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x. When measuring with the laser beam, the minimum measuring range is 10 m.
For precise shooting there is a simple illuminated reticle available in white, green and red. What’s more, the picture‑in‑picture mode offers the possibility of displaying a detailed view of the target in a separate window, giving us a complete overview of the situation in front of us. It is now standard to be able to adjust the colour display of the image; we have 4 colour palettes to choose from: white hot, black hot, red hot and fusion.
During observation we can take photos or record videos, which we can transfer to a computer via a USB cable or save directly to the integrated memory with a capacity of 16 GB. In addition, the Wi‑Fi function allows the device to be controlled remotely directly from a phone.
We should also mention other useful functions such as Hot‑Spot (marking the object with the highest thermal value), distance measurement – after marking the upper and lower edge of the object, the system calculates its distance, image correction with DPC (defective pixel correction) and FFC (flat‑field correction) functions, image calibration to adjust the thermal image so that it is consistent with the optical image, reticle calibration and trajectory correction.
The housing is made of magnalia, an aluminium‑magnesium alloy, which has a positive effect on its high mechanical resistance, resulting in a durability rating of IP67. Thanks to its high robustness we don’t have to worry about vibrations generated when shooting even with such powerful calibres as 375 H&H or 9,3x64.
The power source in this case is a single 18650 cell, which can be charged very quickly via the USB‑C port. When fully charged, we can count on 6 hours of continuous operation.
