Meopta was founded in the Czech Republic back in 1933 and started out as a manufacturer of optical components. Over time, it expanded its production to complete optical devices such as riflescopes, binoculars, and spotting scopes. Thanks to decades of experience, a strong focus on innovation, and strict quality control, Meopta has grown into a multinational company with business partners all over the world. Nevertheless, it remains true to its origins – all production still takes place exclusively in the Czech Republic.
The company has its own development centre and testing laboratory, which enables it to create products of the highest possible quality and functionality. This is also why it is now among the world’s leading manufacturers of optical systems for both civilian and military use.
