As the name itself suggests, MeoHunter R5 riflescopes are designed primarily for hunting purposes. And despite using advanced technologies and features that you can find in Meopta models many times more expensive, MeoHunter riflescopes offer a perfect price / quality ratio.
The highly durable construction made of aircraft-grade aluminium is able to withstand all common hunting calibres, the nitrogen-filled tube prevents lens fogging during sudden temperature changes, and resistance to dust, rain, and even full submersion hardly needs to be mentioned. Protective flip-up lens covers are also included with the riflescope.
The optical system really offers a lot. The lenses are coated with anti-reflective layers providing light transmission of up to 84%, and the outer lenses additionally feature a water-repellent coating. The etched reticle has red illumination with 11 levels with the option to switch off in intermediate positions, or you can use the Auto-Off function, where the illumination automatically switches off after 2 hours. Power is supplied by one CR2032 battery (1 pc included).
This model is equipped with a BDC3 reticle in the 2nd focal plane SFP (the reticle does not change in size depending on the riflescope magnification).
The exposed adjustment turrets are equipped with a Pop-Up function (to adjust them, they must be pulled up; when pushed down, they are locked). The scale of the adjustment turrets of Meopta riflescopes is set in cm/100m. Naturally, dioptre correction is possible in the range of -3D/+2D. Parallax is adjustable from 10 metres to infinity.
