Meopta was founded in the Czech Republic in 1933 and started out as a manufacturer of optical components. Over time, it expanded its production range to include complete optical devices such as riflescopes, binoculars and observation devices. Thanks to decades of experience, a focus on constant innovation and strict quality control, Meopta has grown into a global company with business partners all over the world. Nevertheless, they remain true to their origins – all production still takes place exclusively in the Czech Republic.
The company operates its own research and development center and testing laboratory, ensuring that their products are of the highest possible quality and functionality.
