The Optika HD binocular series features roof-type optical prisms made of BaK4 glass coated with a dielectric layer, resulting in extraordinary light transmission both in daytime (88%) and twilight (85%). Besides that, the prisms also ensure maximum image sharpness without any distortion effects. The 42mm diameter objective lenses offers a fixed 10x magnification and a 6° angle of view. The diopter correction of ±4D is also available.
The entire binoculars, including the rotation-adjustable eyepieces, are made of magnesium-aluminium alloy with a rubberized surface coating rsulting in high drop and scratch resistance. As with all Meopta binoculars, this model is completely waterproof and filled with nitrogen preventing fogging of the optical system.
