The range of binoculars Optika HD is equipped with optical BaK4 glass prisms coated with a dielectric layer, which results in high light transmission both during the day (88%) and at dusk (85%). At the same time, they ensure maximum image sharpness without unwanted distorting effects. Objective lenses with a diameter of 42 mm provide a fixed 10× magnification and a 6° field of view. Dioptre adjustment of ±4D is, of course, also included.
The entire binoculars, including the twist-up eyecups, are made from a magnesium and aluminium alloy with a rubberised surface finish, providing high resistance to impact, scratches, and weather conditions. Like all Meopta binoculars, this model is completely waterproof and nitrogen-filled, which prevents the optical system from fogging up.
