PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This tiny yet super handy chronograph FX Pocket Chrono V2 shouldn't be missing from any passionate sharpshooter's inventory.
Instead of conventional optical or acoustic sensors, it makes use of the Doppler effect to measure the muzzle velocity, i.e. thus works like a radar. This is one of the most accurate technologies for measuring projectile velocity. Furthermore, radar chronographs are not affected by light conditions and are very light and compact.
This is also reflected by the fact that the Pocket Chrono V2 can be easily mounted onto a gun using either the supplied 22mm Weaver/Picatinny mount, or onto any barrel or cartridge using a bracket mount.
NOTE: This wireless device is designed to be used in conjunction with the FX Radar mobile app (Android and iOS), which allows you to make all chronograph adjustments and it can also be paired with the FX Chrono digital display as well.
To begin measuring, just select a preset profile in the app based on the estimated muzzle velocity range and after setting the projectile mass, the device will also give out the muzzle energy values. It is compatible with pretty much any projectile in the range from 90m/s (300 FPS) to 380m/s (1250 FPS).
The device is powered by an integrated Li-ion battery that can be recharged via the USB-C port.
