New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The Sig Sauer MCX GENII air rifle in Flat Dark Earth finish is a CO2 replica of the SIG MCX platform designed for shooting 4.5 mm (.177) pellets. The second generation features modified controls, redesigned ergonomics and a construction focused on accurate shooting. The magazine holds 30 pellets, while the muzzle velocity reaches up to 166 m/s (545 FPS).
The receiver, outer barrel, sights and internal mechanism are made of metal. The handguard, stock, magazine and small components are made of durable polymer. The redesigned synthetic stock features a low-profile buttpad and houses the CO2 cartridge. The handguard is equipped with an M-LOK interface for attaching compatible accessories. The total weight is within 3.2 kg.
Power is provided by one 88 g or 90 g CO2 cartridge, inserted into the stock with a Quick Detach system. The air rifle operates in semi-auto mode, so there is no need to manually load another pellet into the barrel after each shot. Before the first shot, however, the air rifle must be cocked similarly to its original counterpart. The magazine has a capacity of 30 pellets.
The GENII model is equipped with a straight trigger, which is one of the design modifications of the second generation. The trigger pull is 5.5 lbs. The controls are complemented by an ambidextrous manual safety designed as a selector, allowing it to be operated from either the right or left side of the firearm. This arrangement follows the ergonomics of the MCX platform and enables comfortable handling while shooting.
The rifled barrel for 4.5 mm (.177) calibre is complemented by folding flip-up mechanical sights. The front sight and rear peep sight with dual aperture are adjustable for elevation and windage. A long 22 mm RIS rail to the M1913 standard runs along the top, intended for mounting a rifle scope or red dot sight.
