CO2 Air Rifles are an Ideal Choice for Plinking

A CO2 air rifle is the right choice if you want to do some target practice and hone your shooting skills. It can also shine in short-range target shooting. These airguns are just like their PCP counterparts silent and without any noticeable recoil. The main difference is that they are powered by carbon dioxide (CO2) stored in 12g or 88g single-use cartridges. You can simply discard them after emptying them. Their disadvantage lies in their dependency on the surrounding temperature. You won’t be able to shoot in temperatures below 10 °C.

Full Auto Mode and BlowBack

Some CO2 air rifles are capable of shooting in a fully automatic mode. The increased rate of fire ensures a maximum destruction. Some models, like the Crosman Bushmaster MPW and Crosman DPMS also come with the BlowBack system which simulates the realistic movement of the bolt and recoil. This makes your shooting experience much more intense.
