The plain edge blade of the clip-point type is, as with most Victorinox knives, made of stainless steel with a high chromium content, called “Inox”. The spine of the blade is jimped for more reliable control with the thumb or index finger. And if you do not use the “Thumb Stud” for opening the knife, you will certainly appreciate the option to unscrew it. The blade is locked in the open position by a back-lock mechanism.
The characteristic feature of this knife is its ergonomically shaped handle with textured alox handle scales (embossed aluminium with an anodised surface finish), and of course it also carries the Victorinox logo. A sturdy removable metal pocket clip is used for easy attachment to a belt or pocket. At the end of the handle there is a lanyard hole.
