The tube itself is filled with nitrogen and is manufactured from a single piece of aircraft grade aluminum. The optic is therefore fog-free, waterproof to a depth of 1 m and can withstand recoil up to .338 Lapua Magnum.
The low-profile turrets are lockable and must be raised before correction. The value of one crank is 1/10 MRAD. Parallax correction is adjustable from 10 yards (9.14 m) to infinity.
The VPA-MF tactical reticle is in the first focal plane, so adjusting the magnification changes their size. The crosshair is etched directly into the lens glass, which adds to the overall durability of the riflescope.
This model is able to withstand 750 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of .223 and .308 caliber firearms.
