It has a tactical polymer stock with cheekpiece, which is finished with a rubber butt pad. On the fore-end you will find a mounting system with a Picatinny rail. Thanks to this, you can attach various tactical accessories to the rifle, such as a laser or flashlight.
Umarex 850 M2 is a rifle with a somewhat higher weight. After all, holding an air rifle weighing over three kilos will require some stamina. This rifle is suitable primarily for shooting at longer distances. That is also why you will appreciate the lower mounting rail. This way you will be able to attach a bipod. The Hammerli 850 is made exactly for that. It has a 600 mm long rifled barrel ending with a 1/2 UNF thread for a sound moderator.
At shorter distances you will use the Tru-Glo sights made of fibre-optic material. For shooting at more distant targets you will use the 11 mm mounting rail, on which you can mount any riflescope.
When you slide the fore-end back, you get to the very heart of the rifle — its power source. It is powered by an 88g CO2 cartridge, which will give you approximately 200 shots, or an adapter for two 12g CO2 cartridges. With these you will fire about 75 shots. Umarex 850 M2 uses a metal 8-shot rotary magazine for pellets of 4.5mm diameter. Cocking with the bolt lever is very simple and smooth. Before each shot it is necessary to disengage the automatic safety, which is easily accessible with your thumb. You will feel like a real sniper. Why not try it?
