Power Plenum with a capacity of 75 cm3 for the PCP air rifle Taipan Veteran II.
A Power Plenum is a chamber containing compressed air, located between the regulator and the valve. The regulated air contained in the plenum is released when the trigger is pulled. The air then flows through the valve port and propels the pellet or slug out of the barrel. The combination of pressure and volume of the released air is a key factor for achieving higher and more consistent performance of a PCP air rifle. In general, the larger the Power Plenum (pressure chamber), the more energy can be generated by the air rifle.
