Video Review: TAIPAN Veteran II

Marek Děngl

Czech manufacturer TAIPAN presents new variants of the popular Veteran II model. These newly redesigned alternatives offer longer barrels, increased power and accuracy, or a choice of stylized stocks and grips.

The second generation of the Taipan Veteran II is not just a Roman numeral attached to the model name. It is an entirely new rifle that, while structurally based on its predecessor, brings almost every aspect of it to a whole new level. The most notable new features include a completely redesigned charging mechanism and a free-floating barrel. The manufacturer is now showcasing its flagship model with a number of new extras, which we'll explore in today's video:

We have also shot a comprehensive maintenance video where you can learn how to disassemble the gun and adjust key components. And if you want to see a more thorough test of the Veteran II including shooting, check out our video review:

As the owner, I've been with the company since the very beginning. And I'm proud of it. We have managed to start a dedicated e-shop with weapons with zbrane-vzduchovky.cz, production of our own optics with Valiant and now Balistas, which combines marksmanship and an active outdoor lifestyle. When I'm not tending to guns and work, I'm with my family or playing sports. My soft spot and passion is cars.
