PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Machine translated

The Smith & Wesson M29 revolver is a true classic – specifically in the 6.5" barrel version, made famous by Clint Eastwood in the film Dirty Harry. There it was chambered in .44, while here it is available as an air replica for 4.5 mm lead pellets powered by CO2 cartridges.

The individual pellets are inserted into imitation cartridges, so loading the revolver works the same way as with the live-fire version. The trigger operates in both single-action and double-action modes, so you can manually cock the hammer before each shot, or pull the trigger repeatedly for rapid fire.

The entire revolver is made of polished, blued metal, giving it a realistic weight. The grip is plastic, but at first glance you can’t tell it from real wood.

The 12 g CO2 cartridge is inserted into the grip after removing the left grip panel. An Allen key is also built into the cover to tighten the cartridge.

Maintenance

Since the gun is powered by CO2 cartridges, the rubber seals may become brittle and crack over time due to the freezing carbon dioxide. You can prevent this with occasional application of silicone oil by 1) applying a few drops of silicone oil to the neck of the inserted cartridge, or 2) using an oil cartridge (the simplest option). We also do not recommend leaving an activated cartridge in the gun longer than necessary. If you know you won’t be shooting for a while, release the pressure by loosening the valve.
