The attractive patinated finish is decorated with patriotic engravings. The slide is engraved with the inscriptions We The People and 1776. The grips are decorated with 50 stars (25 on each side), each symbolising one state of the Union.
This replica of the legendary 1911 has an all-metal construction and is very nicely manufactured. The weight also matches the real firearm and the pistol fits the hand very well. Every firearms enthusiast will certainly appreciate the realistic field stripping. Like all later 1911 models, this one also features a functional grip safety.
Power is provided by a CO2 cartridge inserted into the magazine. It holds 17 steel BBs. One 12 g cartridge allows you to fire approximately 60 shots. The overall shooting experience is enhanced by the blowback system, which faithfully imitates slide operation. Muzzle velocity is 103 m/s.
This pistol is just as great as its real counterpart, and can therefore also be used for training in handling the full-size SIG.
