PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
It is a product line of sterilized Ready to eat meals prepared from 100% natural ingredients. It comes from the Czech producer Adventure Menu. It is hand cooked food that is preserved without chemicals. Even so, the stored sterilised food has a shelf life of up to 3 years. You don't need any water to prepare them. Just heat them up in a pot or in a self-heating system (here you need at least a couple of dcl of water) and you have food on the go just like from home (and often better). It's ideal for shorter trips where you're not worrying about every gram, or for places with a shortage of drinking water.
Pork in Cumin is a very filling meal that will replenish your energy and also keep you warm on the go. The juicy chunks of steamed pork shoulder will win you over with its excellent flavour and combination of low weight and high energy value. There's nothing like having a wholesome main meal on a mountain ridge or on a multi-day hike in the great outdoors, especially without the hassle of starting a fire and cooking. The Adventure Menu has done the almost impossible and brought the Czech MRE (meal ready to eat) one step closer to gastronomic heaven.
Pork on cumin contains 99% pork (shoulder), salt and 0.3% cumin. Inside you'll find a total of 11% fat, 3% saturated fat, 29% protein, 0% carbs, 0% sugar and 1.2 % salt. In total, it gives you 428 kcal (1 794 kJ).
The package measures 19 x 15 x 5 cm and weighs only 208 g. Inside you will find 200 g of food. The contents of the bag make one full serving.
