The Italian company Chiappa has gained a lot of popularity all over the world mainly due to the production of the iconic Chiappa Rhino revolver. However, they have now decided to establish a new brand of non-lethal self-defense guns called Less Than Lethal (LTL).
Currently, LTL offers 3 pistols designed for firing rubber and pepper balls powered by carbon dioxide cartridges. Although all pistols achieve the same muzzle energy, feature the same quick activation system, and possess mostly identical internal components, they vary in their external construction and ammunition capacity.
The Alfa pistol with built-in 7-round magazine has a full plastic frame and is the most affordable LTL model. The Bravo, with a 6-shot capacity, is shorter, features a robust metal slide with light-guiding fiber sights and a much better crafted plastic body. Equally well made is the Charlie model, which is the only one to include a detachable 5-shot magazine.
