The Italian company Chiappa has become famous worldwide mainly for producing the iconic Chiappa Rhino revolver. They have now decided to launch a new brand of non-lethal self-defense weapons called Less Than Lethal (LTL).
LTL currently offers 3 pistols designed to shoot rubber and pepper projectiles powered by CO₂ cartridges. Although all pistols achieve the same muzzle energy, are equipped with the same quick activation system, and have essentially identical internal components, they differ significantly in the design of the external construction and in their various ammunition capacities.
The Alfa pistol with a built-in magazine for 7 rounds has an all-polymer frame and is the most affordable LTL model. The Bravo, with a capacity of 5 shots, is shorter, features a massive metal slide with fiber-optic sights, and a much better-finished polymer frame. Equally well made is the Charlie model, which is the only one to feature a detachable 5-round magazine.
