The stone is designed for Lansky sharpening systems, but it can also be used separately as a handheld sharpener. The sharpening surface is made of a diamond layer intended for sharpening edges made of very hard steel such as CPM-S30V. When sharpening, it is not recommended to use oil or water. Do not press the knife against the stone with great force, as this could damage the sharpening surface. After sharpening, simply rinse the stone in water with a detergent additive.
