With this model you can easily sharpen knives with inward-curved blades such as karambit, kukri, hawkbill or scythe. Standard sharpening stones usually struggle with these blade types, but not this one. It can also handle very dull and damaged blade edges.
Lansky Coarse-Curved Blade Hone has a coarse 120 Grit, which is ideal for more aggressive sharpening. The hole for the guide rod and the brass thread for the screw are located on the ergonomically shaped plastic handle.
To achieve the best results, you must use sharpening oil when sharpening. You can make your work easier by using a stand with a knife holder, guide rods, etc. These tools are included in all Lansky sharpening kits.
