New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers Professional rifle scopes of the premium Continental series consist of a durable nitrogen-filled body with an IP67 protection rating, made from high‑quality aircraft‑grade aluminium 6061 T6 and a German optical system with ED glass and a lens system LaRee & VePRO FMC, which ensures exceptionally low dispersion and high light transmission of 93%.
In the middle of the scope, on the tube with a diameter of 30 mm, there are three exposed turrets: two turrets with zerostop function for windage and elevation adjustment with a range of 48 MOA and an adjustment step of 1/8 MOA, and one exposed turret with 6‑level red illumination control of the reticle and parallax adjustment from 10 yards (9 m) to infinity.
The eyepiece with a diameter of 44 mm provides a long eye relief of 95 mm and on its surface it has two rings: one for dioptre correction with fast focus +2/-3 and one for setting the magnification 6-48x.
The reticle VCO-6 MOA is etched directly on the glass and is located in the second focal plane - SFP. Illumination is powered by one CR2032 battery.
The scope is supplied together with a sunshade and lens covers.
This model is able to withstand 1000 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of firearms in .300, .308 and .338 calibre.
With this model, the reticle illumination switch has 11 positions, but the illumination is only activated from level 6. In practice, it therefore offers 6 brightness levels. The first 5 positions of the switch are non‑functional, which is not a defect – the manufacturer Vector Optics uses the same switch also on models that have all 11 illumination levels.
