The most important component of any rifle scope is of course the optical system, and the manufacturer Vector Optics knows this very well. That is why the Continental x6 4-24x56 FFP VCT-34 MRAD model offers a truly top-class system of LaREE and VePRO lenses with FMC coating, which lets through an impressive 90% of light. Thanks to this, the scope is suitable for use even in poor visibility.
This model is equipped with an etched VCT-34 reticle in the first focal plane (the reticle increases in size depending on the magnification) with a total of 6 brightness levels, powered by a CR2032 battery (not included).
Elevation and windage adjustment is given in milliradians MRAD (also denoted as MIL), where 1 click = 0.1 MRAD. The elevation turret is equipped with a Zero Stop function, which allows you, after zeroing the rifle, to reset the scope to any value below which it will not go. Parallax adjustment can be set from 10 yards to infinity. Rotation of the adjustment turrets is accompanied by a quiet click, which makes it easier to adjust the scope without taking your eyes off the target.
All components are protected by a robust body with IP67 protection rating made from aircraft-grade aluminium 6061 T6, thanks to which the scope can withstand recoil of 1000G. The one-piece forged tube has a diameter of 34mm and, to prevent the lenses from fogging up due to sudden temperature changes, the scope is filled with nitrogen.
This model is capable of withstanding 1000 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of firearms in .300, .308 and .338 calibre.
