Vector Optics Continental x8 6-48x56 ED MOA Tactical

Professional riflescopes of the premium series Continental consist of a durable nitrogen-purged, IP67 rated housing made of high-quality aerospace-grade 6061 T6 aluminium and a German optical system with LaRee & VePRO FMC ED glass which guarantees extremely low dispersion and high light transmission of 93%.

In the center of the riflescope, on a 30 mm diameter tube, there are three open rectification chambers: Two turrets with for lateral and elevation correction with an adjustment range of 48 MOA and a rectification step of 1/8 MOA, and one open turret with 6-step red illumination and a parallax adjustment from 10 yards (9 m) to infinity.

The 44 mm diameter eyepiece provides a long eye relief of 95 mm and has a diopter correction ring located on its surface for +2/-3 fast focusing and a 6-48x magnification adjustment ring.

The VCO-6 MOA reticle is etched directly on the glass and is located in the second focal plane - the SFP. The illumination is powered by a single CR2032 battery.

The package also includes a sunshade and lens caps.

This model is able to withstand 1000 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of .300, .308 and .338. caliber firearms.

This model features an illumination switch with 11 positions, however, the reticle illumination activates only from level 6. Therefore it only offers 6 brightness levels. The first 5 switch positions are inactive, which is not a defect – the manufacturer Vector Optics uses the same switch on other models that offer  all 11 illumination levels.
