Model CM116 is from the BSeries BS9, which features durable knives for hard work in field conditions. The blade of the knife is made of Spanish Mova stainless steel 1.4116, which is hardened to 55-57 HRC. The end result is a very resistant blade against dulling, which is easy to sharpen in tough conditions. With regard to ease of maintenance, the knife is equipped with a drop-point blade with a flat grind, which is generally used in work knives because of the durability of the tip. A notched zone is formed on the back of the blade. This zone acts as a support for the fingers in guiding the knife with precision. A firm and secure grip is guaranteed by the profiled scabbard made of grey micarta.
