The CM116 model is from the BS9 series, which includes durable knives for hard work in the field. The blade is made of Spanish Mova stainless steel 1.4116, hardened to 55–57 HRC. The result is a very durable edge resistant to blunting, which is easy to sharpen even in tough conditions. For easy maintenance, the knife is equipped with a drop-point blade with a flat grind, which is generally used on working knives due to the strength of the tip. A serrated section is created on the spine of the blade. This section serves as a support area for the fingers when guiding the knife precisely. A firm and secure grip is ensured by the contoured handle scales made of grey micarta.
