Second generation professional thermal imaging front attachment from manufacturer Hikmicro named THUNDER TE19CR 2.0.
Compared to its predecessor, this model has a redesigned more robust construction, more conveniently positioned control buttons and a new custom-made Li-ion battery with a capacity of 4400mAh, which allows it to operate for up to 10 hours. The software has also been updated – the user interface has been reworked to be much more user-friendly and easier to operate.
Furthermore, the TE19CR 2.0 model is equipped with a 12μm thermal core with a resolution of 256x192px and a sensitivity of <35mK (it can distinguish temperature differences smaller than 0.035°C) and a lens with a diameter of 19mm, thanks to which it can detect a target at a distance of up to 1000m. The resulting image is transmitted to a 1024x768px OLED display with a smooth refresh rate of 50Hz.
You can switch between 4 colour modes (black hot, white hot, red hot and fusion), adjust the overall brightness and image temperature, and photos or videos with audio can be stored on the built-in 16GB storage, or in the mobile app Hikmicro Sight. In addition, you can use this device on up to 5 different weapons without the need for repeated zeroing thanks to five user profiles.
A standard feature of Hikmicro products is the popular “Recoil-activation Recording” function, which starts saving the recording several seconds before the shot and several seconds after the shot.
All this is protected by a compact body made of durable and lightweight magnesium alloy. Thanks to the materials used and the high manufacturing quality, the device is also suitable for firearms with recoil up to 1000g/0.4ms and boasts an IP67 protection rating.
To mount it on a riflescope, a separate adapter ring must be purchased. The inner diameter of the adapter ring must match the outer diameter of your riflescope’s objective (not the lens diameter). Compatible adapter rings can be found below in the “Recommended accessories” section.
