Second generation of a professional thermal imaging clip-on sight from Hikmicro called THUNDER TE19CR 2.0.
Compared to its predecessor, this model has a redesigned sturdier housing, more convenient placement of control buttons and a new, custom-made Li-ion battery with a capacity of 4400mAh, which can keep it running for up to 10 hours. Even the software has undergone changes - the user interface has been reworked to be far more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
In addition, the TE19CR 2.0 is equipped with a 12μm thermal core with a resolution of 256x192px and a sensitivity of <35mK ( capable of distinguishing temperature differentials of less than 0.035°C) and a 19mm diameter lens that can detect targets up to 1000m away. The final image is transmitted onto a 1024x768px OLED display with a smooth 50Hz refresh rate.
You can cycle through 4 color palettes (black hot, white hot, red hot and fusion), adjust the overall brightness and image temperature, and save the captured photos and videos with audio to the built-in 16GB storage or into the Hikmicro Sight app. Plus, you can use this device on up to 5 individual guns without having to re-zero thanks to five user profiles.
Also included is the popular "Recoil-activation Recording" feature, which saves the footage a few seconds before the shot is fired and stops a few seconds after.
Everything is protected by a compact housing made of highly durable yet lightweight magnesium alloy. Thanks to the materials used and the outstanding processing quality, the device is suitable for weapons with recoil of up to 1000g/0.4ms and boasts an IP67 protection rating.
In order to mount the device on a riflescope, it is necessary to purchase a clip-on adapter. The inner diameter of the adapter has to match the outer diameter of the riflescope's objective (not the lens). Compatible adapters can be found in the "We also recommend buying" section below.
