The wedge-shaped head has been specially designed for efficient wood splitting.
The head is made of hand-forged C45 carbon steel with a hardness of 53–56 HRC. The blade is hand-ground and also features the embossed Helko trademark crown. The head weighs 1500 g.
Also worth mentioning is the white walnut (hickory) handle with a total length of 75 cm. The wood used for the handle is carefully selected to ensure the best possible grain structure.
As a bonus, this model is supplied with a practical cowhide leather sheath. The total weight is 2100 g.
