The head is made of hand-forged C45 carbon steel with a hardness of 53 - 56 HRC. The blade is hand-ground and also features the stamped Helko trademark crown. The head weighs only 500 g and its ground and polished surface reduces friction when chopping and also increases corrosion resistance.
Also worth mentioning is the handle made of Swiss ash with a total length of 36 cm. The wood used for the handle is carefully selected to ensure the best possible grain structure.
As a bonus, this model also comes with a practical cowhide leather sheath. The total weight is 800 g.
