It is perfectly suited for sharpening axes and other tools that require a sharp edge. The stone is made of ceramic silicon carbide with two different grit sizes: 120 for creating a new edge and 320 for final honing of the blade.
The stone is stored in a lightweight aluminium case with a diameter of 75 mm and a height of 25 mm. Thanks to its compact dimensions and practical round shape, the stone fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and is easy to use. You can sharpen your tools either dry or with oil or lubricant. A major advantage is also its weight of only 195 g.
