The foundation of the optical system is formed by roof prisms (Roof Prisms), whose shape allows this monocular to retain its compact dimensions. An equally important part of the optical system is the BAK4 optical glass, which ensures minimal dispersion of light rays. The result is a clear and sharp image across the entire field of view (101 m at 1000 m).
The closest focusing distance of the monocular is 2 m. For undisturbed observation, the eyepiece is equipped with a twist-up eyecup made of hardened rubber.
The optics are protected by a robust yet lightweight polycarbonate body, whose outer surface is covered with a rubber layer. The precise construction guarantees waterproofing and fog resistance. On the underside of the body you will find a 1/4-20 UNC thread for mounting on a tripod.
