New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers Ganzo Firebird F804 is a massive machete with a Full Tang construction, inspired by the traditional sharp tool Kukri originating from the Indian subcontinent. The rubberised handle is ergonomically shaped and has a non-slip surface for a firm and safe grip. At the end of the handle there is a hole for a lanyard.
The blade is made of stainless steel 5Cr14MoV, which is highly resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. It is hardened to a hardness of 54 - 55 HRC and can be re-sharpened very easily in the field. The blade is 286 mm long and the overall length of the machete is 440 mm.
Thanks to its profile, this machete is suitable even for demanding tasks. The centre of gravity of the curved blade is shifted forward, which means your hand gets less tired during use and cutting is noticeably more efficient.
This model comes with a practical nylon sheath. The sheath has an adjustable strap that allows you to carry it on your back or over your shoulder, and two additional stabilising straps for belt carry.
