PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Machine translated

The development of PCP air rifles is advancing by leaps and bounds, and the Korean manufacturer Evanix definitely does not want to be even a step behind. On the contrary, they are constantly looking for new ways to improve already perfect models. Proof of this is the second generation of the hugely successful bullpup Max Air.

Evanix Max Air II is one of the fastest and most reliable semi-automatic air rifles on the market. It is an ideal choice for those who are tired of constant cocking; you can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. It should be added that this happens without any jamming. It is simple: before inserting the magazine, just pull back the charging handle, insert the magazine and return the handle to its original position. After that, you only need to pull the trigger.

The Air Max model uses a new type of magazine that was developed specifically for Semi-auto models. The package includes 1 piece with a capacity of 10 shots. The manual safety is located above the trigger.

High-quality workmanship is a matter of course for Evanix products. The rifle feels very robust and all main parts are made of metal. The stock and cheekpiece are made of polymer. The Max Air does not have iron sights, so a 22 mm weaver rail is used for mounting optics. You will find a second rail on the fore-end, which can be used, for example, to attach a bipod.

The air cylinder has a volume of 280 ccm with a maximum working pressure of 250 bar. It is filled using the standard Evanix quickfill. The barrel is shrouded, which makes the rifle quieter. In addition, you can purchase a sound moderator and screw it onto the 1/2" thread.

Very happy with this rifle! Shoots with a measured 49 joules very accurately at 80 meters and further. Get about 30 identical shots at 80 meters before the point of impact shifts slightly. There are 2 magazines for 10 shots each, one for slugs and one for pellets. Magazine for Slugs does not work with pellets, using pellets in the slugs magazine will result in malfunction and deformed pellets. Furthermore, I almost lost an Allen screw the first time I used it, whereupon the weapon discharged itself completely with fully automatic shots until the air bottle was empty. The screw then fell out of the rifle and fortunately didn't get lost. I found the right hole for the screw under the sliding cover on the top of the weapon, screwed it in and everything has been working perfectly ever since. But beware, the end is at 140 bar, otherwise the cartridge will be emptied fully automatically.
Truly a powerful accurate gun!
