The Epic designers are now coming with something slightly more classic – the ONE Walnut series with an elegantly shaped walnut stock.
Introducing EPIC ONE – the new icon of the world‑renowned company EPIC AIRGUNS based in the Czech Republic. The EPIC team has capitalised on all the experience gained from producing the successful TWO model and transformed it into its compact bullpup successor. The high manufacturing quality is evident from every side – for example, the main monoblock of the air rifle is made from a single piece of metal on a 5‑axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve that guarantees maximum power at minimal hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the side lever. At the same time, it reduces air wastage and thus increases the shot count per fill. The hammer preload can be adjusted externally using a screw located above the buttpad.
The air cylinder with a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) can be filled using the supplied filling pin with a standard 1/8" diameter compatible with a standard quick coupler. The air rifle is equipped with 2 manometers – one indicating the current pressure in the cylinder, the other for the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator, which can be set with the included tool in the range from 50 to 190 bar (always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is complemented by a large power plenum (63cc for the version with 420mm barrel and 95cc for the 550mm and 700mm barrels).
EPIC ONE air rifles are fitted with an unchoked CZUB barrel (Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod) with 12 grooves and a 17.7" twist rate. The muzzle is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to stiffen the barrel and also allows barrel pre‑tension (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with 420mm and 550mm barrel length are additionally equipped with an integrated K-Baffle sound moderator, also ending with a 1/2UNF thread.
The version with a 700mm barrel is, after unscrewing the segment with the 1/2UNF thread and exposing the M27x1 thread, compatible with the EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or with a muzzle brake.
Thanks to the barrel kit you can freely change the barrel length and the overall calibre of the air rifle. The set contains everything you need (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF moderator adapter, 1/2UNF thread protector, transfer port, and loading probe).
To achieve the best results with heavy pellets and slugs, a barrel kit with an unchoked polygonal Lothar Walther barrel (6 grooves with 17.7" twist rate) is also available.
The ONE series is equipped with a new pre‑tensioned magazine with a magnetically closing cover. To load it, simply rotate the inner part and insert the first round, which locks the rotary mechanism. Thanks to its compact size, the magazine does not disturb the overall look of the air rifle and does not get in the way when handling. In addition, it holds projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to its clever bullpup design, the ONE model achieves exceptionally compact dimensions while the air rifle remains perfectly balanced. A rubberised cheekpiece, which can be freely adjusted along the 11mm dovetail rail running along the entire main block of the air rifle, ensures proper shouldering. The elevated Picatinny rail with up to 30 MOA incline is also adjustable, making it easier to zero your riflescope for shooting at extreme distances.
Instead of an adjustable aluminium buttpad, the Walnut series boasts a walnut stock, manufactured by the renowned Czech company KLINSKY, finished down to the smallest detail. The selected wood has a unique texture, making each air rifle a kind of one‑off. If you already own the standard EPIC ONE version, you can purchase the wooden stock separately here.
You can also purchase the Top Rail EPIC ONE – a tuning Picatinny rail with multiple M-LOK slots on the sides, or an Arca-Swiss mounting platform for versions with a 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle.
To attach additional accessories you can use two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel.
Trigger mechanism has been fine‑tuned to the smallest detail. Using several screws, you can adjust the trigger pull weight, the travel of the first and second stage, and the height and rotation of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located directly in front of the trigger, so you do not have to take your eyes off the target to disengage the rifle. The easily reversible side lever with an extremely smooth action is already a matter of course on EPIC air rifles.
