Daisy Red Ryder 1938 is a replica of one of the most famous western rifles you could see in legendary western movies – the classic Winchester-type rifle. So if you are a fan of the Wild West, you can’t go wrong choosing this steel BB rifle. Its original version is often associated with such icons as Buffalo Bill, the sharpshooter Annie Oakley, or former US president Teddy Roosevelt.
This air rifle fires 4.5 mm steel BBs (0.177) and is powered by a spring. You have to cock it before each shot. This mechanism belongs to the so‑called Lever Action systems. You can pour up to 650 steel BBs into the magazine located in the front part of the barrel.
Although the manufacturer states that children from ten years of age can shoot this gun, there should always be an adult present. They must not only supervise shooting safety, but also cock the spring for younger or weaker children. With new guns this can be a bit difficult. Even though it is basically just a toy, the manufacturer took safety into account and equipped the gun with a manual safety.
Compared to competing replicas of this popular rifle, you will especially appreciate the high‑quality all‑metal body and the engraved wooden stock, which catches the eye at first glance.
- replica of the famous Winchester-style rifle
- practical lever-action cocking
- attractive design
- high-quality materials
- magazine for 650 steel BBs

It's such a fun air rifle, the cheapest you can buy, which is evident in the
workmanship a lot of plastic etc…but be careful at 20–25 yards with it you
will clink a 4cm post or knock over a can. There's a video on the internet of a
guy shooting 50m cans with it, but that's more about a lot of trial and error.
I bought this air rifle to teach my kids how to use the gun. First air rifle.
We use it once a year with the boys at a sports tournament – speed target and
can shooting, because it has a lever-action loading (ala Clint Eastwood).
It's a lot of fun. Good for the money 🙂 .

Nicely crafted, lightweight air rifle that is easy to use. It has a shorter
range – low power – so it won't knock down a pig on target at about 10m
(it may just be our piece), but we have it just for fun and also for the kids,
so definitely sufficient. I recommend

We use it in the backyard at 10 yards for fun can shooting. It's pretty
accurate because with a little practice I hit the black center of the target
(7–10) every time at the aforementioned 10m.
The instructions recommend 5m, but even at 10 it's fine and the scatter isn't
too bad.
Definitely can be recommended for fun, as the magazine holds a lot of ammo and
you don't have to put another round in after each shot.
It's not really right for precision target shooting, but that's what rifles
with rifled barrels for lead pellets are for.

I got it just for fun since i used to shoot competitively
And of course to teach my daughter – 8 years old
Loading ammo is quick and easy, it fits a lot of BBs
Cocking is also great, smaller kids have a bit of a problem with it, but
it's still better than a break-barrel rifle
The design is gorgeous + the engraving on the stock
Accuracy up to 10 m is fine
