The now legendary CO2 rifle Crosman 1077 has received a tactical version, featuring a chassis stock with adjustable cheekpiece, a rubber butt pad, and a system of mounting rails including a top 22 mm rail for optics and a bottom 22 mm rail for tactical accessories.
The tactical polymer stock not only improves the appearance, but also ensures a comfortable and secure grip. Shooting is fast thanks to the rotary 12-shot pellet magazine. Thanks to the rifled barrel the air rifle is suitable for target shooting at short distances. The sights on the top, including an adjustable rear sight and fibre optic front sight, improve accuracy by enabling precise aiming. On top of that, you can equip the air rifle with an optic.
The internal mechanism is powered by a single 12 g CO2 cartridge, which allows you to fire up to 35 shots.
This air rifle is an ideal choice for fun backyard plinking and precise target shooting at short distances.

At this price, it's an accurate rifle for target and destructive shooting for
the less demanding or „backyard“ hobby shooters. The rifle is calling to be
upgraded.

Generally for this price a very good air rifle to have fun with in the backyard.
Of course you can't expect the world at this price but it shoots more accurately
than expected. The price is of course due to the plastic rails, but they look
very robust. I use it without a rear sight and front sight for fast target
shooting with a great fun factor.

Comparison of the 1077 Tactical with a 20-year-old original 1077: Firstly, one
of the three large screws on the underside of the rifle is missing, which is why
the housing below the trigger can easily be pushed out of the plastic body
approx. 2 mm upwards with the thumb! However, the grip covers the third screw
hole, which is why it is no longer possible to screw a screw into it to fix it
in place. Secondly, on the lower Picatinny rail there is a round protrusion for
one of the housing screws. However, this protrusion blocks most slide-on front
grips (e.g. FSG1 from IMI), rendering the rail useless. Thirdly, the plastic is
very sharp and sharp-edged in many places, especially in places that you
constantly touch during use, e.g. on the magazine or also on the rear part of
the grip where the thumb joint rests. Conclusion: For me as a hobbyist, the
rifle is great because it gives me numerous new projects. But for someone who
just wants to shoot, I definitely recommend the old Crosman 1077 model, where
all the negative aspects of the Tactical model do not exist!
