Air Rifle Cometa Fenix 400 is one of the most popular guns from this Spanish manufacturer. It is a classic spring-piston air rifle with a quality beech stock.
An important feature of this gun is the automatic safety, which is always activated when cocked. The robust wooden stock is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed shooters. Thanks to the pronounced chequering at the grip area, it is very stable when held, which is essential for accurate shooting. A rubber butt pad is located at the end of the stock, which absorbs recoil and thus makes shooting more comfortable.
The barrel has a sufficient overall length of 450mm and is rifled. The overall length of the air rifle is 1140mm. This model is manufactured in calibres 4.5 and 5.5mm.
Even though this model is equipped with a wooden stock, its weight is only 3400gr, which is an ideal compromise between stability and weight.
Cometa Fenix 400 is in all versions equipped with an 11mm dovetail rail. Any riflescope can be mounted on this rail. The trigger position and pull weight can be adjusted.
Our experience: we recommend this air rifle both to beginners and advanced shooters who are looking for an accurate gun at a reasonable price. We really have to praise the high-quality workmanship of the stock and the lower weight. Thanks to this weight and the Tru-glo sights, the air rifle is easy to control and, above all, shoots accurately :))) For target shooting we recommend calibre 4.5mm and for destructive shooting calibre 5.5mm. An advantage is that a tuning spring can be purchased additionally.
