PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This small but highly practical FX Pocket Chrono V2 chronograph is an essential addition to any keen marksman's kit.
To measure muzzle velocity, it uses the Doppler effect instead of conventional optical or acoustic sensors, so it works as a radar. This technology is among the most accurate for measuring projectile velocity. Radar chronographs are also unaffected by lighting conditions and are very lightweight and compact.
This is further demonstrated by how easily you can attach the Pocket Chrono V2 to your gun, either using the supplied 22mm Weaver / Picatinny mount or to any barrel or air cylinder using the clamp mount.
NOTICE: This wireless device is designed for use with the mobile app FX Radar (Android and iOS), which allows you to adjust all chronograph settings, and it can also be paired with the FX Chrono digital display.
To start measuring, simply select a preset profile in the app based on the estimated muzzle velocity, and after entering the ammunition weight, the device will also report the muzzle energy. It can measure velocities from 90m/s (300 FPS) up to 380m/s (1250 FPS).
Please note that the chronograph may not be able to measure projectiles shorter than 6 mm.
The device is powered by an integrated Li-ion battery, which can be recharged via the USB-C port.
