It is available in four calibres, but the most attention is drawn to the 9 mm calibre, which in full power reaches an impressive 191 J. With this model in 5.5 mm calibre we can enjoy shooting with energy of up to 50 J.
Like most Kral Arms air rifles, the Bighorn is built on a quality, massive stock made of Turkish walnut. The gripping areas have a textured surface so that our hands have maximum stable support. The removable rubber butt pad moves along a groove in the vertical plane, allowing it to be perfectly adjusted to our body proportions. The same applies to the height‑adjustable cheek piece. A bit further forward, on the underside of the fore‑end, there is a thread for mounting a bipod; alternatively, we can screw on a mounting rail, which is included in the package together with a front grip whose clever design allows it to be unfolded and converted into a bipod.
The trigger is adjustable in two stages. To prevent accidental firing, the trigger can be secured with a manual safety located on the right side of the receiver block. A classic side lever with an extended handle is used for cocking. The report is partially suppressed by a shroud covering the barrel along its entire length, and the air rifle can also be fitted with an external moderator, for which a 1/2 UNF thread is prepared at the muzzle.
The filled air cylinder with a volume of 500 cc and a maximum working pressure of 250 bar is capable of firing up to 60 full‑power shots. A female 1/8 BSP quick coupler is used for filling. Each air rifle is supplied with two magazines for 12 pellets in 5.5 mm calibre.
